Lava, the domestic smartphone manufacturing firm has launched three new smartphones in India namely A72, A76, A89. Claiming to be the entry-level smartphones, the company launched A72 and A76 smartphones in the Indian market on Thursday. Both the handsets launched the Indian smartphone makers are 4G supporting devices priced at an extremely affordable range. Apart from the launch of two new entry-level smartphones, the company also announced a new smartphone namely A86 in India along with A72 and A76 smartphones. The new Lava A72 smartphone sports a 5.00-inch display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz processor which is coupled with a 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone offers 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera. On the other side, the smartphone bears 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash on both the front and the back.
The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The A72 smartphone is power-packed with a 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery. The device is available in two variant colour schemes, but the contrast may not be visible under the normal lighting conditions. The smartphone will be available in two color combinations such as white/gold and blue/black. The A72 smartphone includes GPS connectivity.
At the time of launch, the company assured that the phone ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop, but is guaranteed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update soon. The handset is priced at an absolutely inexpensive range of Rs. 6,499.
The Lava A76 is another entry-level smartphone launched by the company in India. The smartphone features a 4.50-inch display. The A76 smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz processor which is paired with a 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 operating system. In terms of storage, the device provides 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 5.0-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. On the front is a VGA camera with an LED flash. The A76 is power-packed by an 1850 mAH Li-ion battery. The smartphone is available in two variant colours such as black and white. The new A76 smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,699.
Last but not least, the Lava A89 houses a 5-inch display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz processor which is coupled with a 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone offers an 8GB of storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera. On the flip side, the device bears a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera has an HDR mode, and a photo timer grid.
The A89 smartphone is fueled by a 2000mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 operating system. The A89 also supports GPS connectivity. This model is also guaranteed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The company announced that it will also launch its A89 smartphone in the coming weeks at an inexpensive price range of Rs. 5,999.

The company has also improved the smartphone software with amazing features such as video picture-in-picture mode, smart screen gestures, Smart Music that allows you to play music even when the smartphone display is turned off.
