How to install CyanogenMod 11S on your Nexus 5:
Installation is very simple, it is installed through recovery as any Custom Rom, following the steps described below.
1- Have Root and the latest version of TWRP Recovery , if you have not you can install it from following the steps in the next post | Root and Install TWRP Recovery Nexus 5
2- Install the latest version of TWRP Recovery |OpenRecovery-TWRP-22.214.171.124-hammerhead.img
Steps for Proper Installation:
2- Enter Recovery Mode , for it off your Nexus 5 together press the buttons Volume Up + Volume Down + Power, paid into Fastboot mode, and the volume key up or volume down look that says Recovery Mode , and select with Power.
3- Within the Recovery perform a backup (Nandroid) in Backup and Restore (if using CWM) or when using Backup (TWRP)
Followed perform 4- Full wipes, Wipe cache Wipe data, Wipe System
5- Go to Install zip or Install depending on your Recovery and look for the ROM of CyanogenMod_11S_hammerhead_V1.2.zip which was forwarded to the internal memory of your Android and installing it.
6- Finally reboot your Nexus 5 in Reboot system now or Reboot> System
