Root and TWRP Install Nexus 9 Recovery with Android 5.0 Lollipop

Very good news for the world Android , is that a few hours after being released image factory for theNexus 9 , developers XDA Developers, and space to the already known developer Chainfire have managed to make and confirm access to Root for Nexus September and after much speculation that was already confirmed that the Nexus 9, and may rootear , the steps are a little longer, but nothing complicated. This is because at this point, the tool  CF-Auto-Root has not been updated to live cores 64-bit devices, as is the case  in September Nexus with Android Lollipop .

Root Nexus Android 9 Lollipop

The process is very simple, you only need to follow the steps described below to have super user privileges by SuperSU your new Neus 9  that comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop factory .

Important:

Before continuing with the procedure, it is necessary to activate the Options Developer, for it Settings> About Device and press more than 7 times in a row the number Compilation until a message is displayed notifying the developer options are enabled.

Then from your device go to Options developer and check the box Enable OEM unlocking / permit OEM unlock and then below on or tick the  USB Depuracion.

 

Prerequisite

– Make a backup of your data as it is likely to lose all your information

– Install the  Android SDK  that has the last  adb  Updated |  Android SDK  ( not mandatory )

– You can only have the adb with the files necessary to install an image of manufactures, download | Tools ADB .

– You must have device drivers installed |  Google USB Driver

– Have at least 50% battery.

Steps to Get Root access on your Nexus 9

1- Download and unzip this file | CF-Auto-Root-flounder-volantis-nexus9.zip

2- When you unzip the file .zip get a file called root-windows.bat

3- Enter the bootloader mode (turn off the device and turn it on while pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power) and Plug your device into bootloader mode by USB media to the computer and expect it to be recognized by your PC.

4- Run the file root-windows.bat and confirm with ENTER

5- You will then need only disconnect the device and restart.

Steps to install TWRP Recovery

1- Download the TWRP Recovery | OpenRecovery-TWRP-2.8.2.1-volantis.img  (I renaming to: recovery )

2- downloaded the .zip file will have to unzip it anywhere on your PC and then add the file recovery.img to the folder ADB Tools or can copy the platform-tools from the Android SDK you have installed on your PC folder.

3- Enter the bootloader mode (turn off the device and turn it on while pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power) and Plug your device into bootloader mode by USB media to the computer and expect it to be recognized by your PC.

4- ADB Tool Open the folder where you have the recovery.img file that were transferred in step 2 and press the Shift + Click right button and choose Open command window here, and you must type the following command and press ENTER:

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Immediately after installing the custom recovery ( TWRP ), you must go to  Recovery mode  in the Fastboot menu, you do it by pressing the Volume Down, you’re far Says Recovery and agree with the Power button. With that confirm that the installation was successful.

Note that many of the applications have problems with both Root Android 5.0, and also by the 64-bit processor. You can also have more problems with 64-bit SuperSU has not been updated, hope it is soon.
